Writing this a year after buying a remote starter from JDK. A friend asked where they should go to get a starter and without hesitation I knew where to send them. Had a remote starter installed for Christmas 2011. Would just suggest setting up an appointment early - it's their busiest time of year. But being a small business is what makes them so great. The customer service and individualized attention can't be beat. A month or two later some light came on and the dealership tried to blame it on the remote installation. We called up JDK right away and they were able to set the problem straight (and it had nothing to do with their installation)! Great customer service. Next time we need a starter installed no questions asked. I will go back to JDK.

I recently upgraded the sound system on my 2012 wrx. The factory unit was beyond terrible, which wasn't completely apparent until I upgraded. I heard good things about JDK so I sent John an email, asking some general questions about my options. A few days later I got a detailed quote with options ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. When I spoke to John he gave me a detailed description of all my options, with his advice. There was never any pressure to spend more money. He really wanted me to be happy, and choose what was best for me. The install looks factory, including a sub control switch he added. I had a new head unit, steering control cable, sub and amp installed. The system sounds incredible. The Bluetooth sound is also far superior compared to the factory, and is much easier to use. When I picked up my car, John spent 30 minutes explaining every detail, paired my phone, and answered all my questions. He never rushed me. John is a true master of his craft.

JDK removed a two way remote starter from my Civic and installed into my new 2010 CRV. From the very first conversation, to removal, to installation JDK was professional, extremely considerate of my coming out from Boston, and reasonably priced when I compared to other places from which I had received estimates. John does excellent work and I was extremely impressed with his customer service (for example, providing a 'to know' list about the starter and even cleaning the drivers side floor mat as well as allowing me to come in on a Sunday for removal because of my busy schedule).
