At first this place seems like a great place, however that feeling will change over the next 30 to 45 days. The counselors seem knowledgeable and the front desk staff is pretty friendly. Once inside the program you realize they treat you like children but expect you to act like adults.

Here is an example, if you oversleep even by a few minutes they will make you write a 500 word essay. If you put a plastic bottle in the garbage instead of the recyclable bin they will make you write a 500 word essay. The house you stay in has basic rules and even though you or your insurance is paying for you to stay there, they still expect you to do chores, cook the food, wash the dishes etc. However if the house "Parent" doesn't feel you did a good enough job he can make you do the chores over and over again until he is satisfied. As part of their rules it states "Negligence in performing chores will result in privilege suspension and/or expulsion from the house" Seriously I thought the entire reason for this program was to help addicts learn how to deal with their addictions and help them get onto the path of recovery. Not lets make these addicts cook and clean and write essays and if they don't like it we can kick them out, after all their insurance has already paid their bills. Bottom line is this partial hospitalization program is a joke and needs to be investigated to see if the way they are treating their patients is legal. I would give this place a negative rating if I could.

This place was truly awful. Went in for a drug & alcohol evaluation as apart of an ARD requirement. Before I even got there, I felt like Andrea (the counselor) had already made up her mind about me and the treatment program she was going to have me complete. During our sessions she frequently quoted "facts" about alcohol that didn't add up, and when I would question her she'd fidget and say "Well, I'm pretty sure...I'll have to look it up later." Seriously? I quit after a few weeks and found a better place that didn't put me through so much crap.
