The first thing I noticed when I walked into the Red Tavern was the calm, warm smiles and relaxed, intimate atmosphere. The wait staff move as though in a ballet, and you are never left waiting, or looking for service. The food is seasonal and their menu changes every two weeks which inspires you to try new dishes and keep going back. As a vegetarian the chefs are always willing to make me some wonderful dish out of their imagination, if nothing on the menu fits my needs. The portions are perfectly designed to fill you comfortably without stuffing you too full (and maybe even allow for some enjoyment of their sweet and interesting deserts). I think that it is easily the best restaurant in town.
