After searching for more than a year, and considering having very expensive valances made by a chain retailer, my search had a happy ending at Linen & Shade Bin. I live in Vermont but my mother lives in the area and said I absolutely must shop there. SO glad I did. Customer service was excellent - I appreciated the guidance on the correct rods and fullness of the valances.

Having just moved to the area, we had need for a variety of shades and window treatments for our new home.We found that this specialty shop provided extremely knowledgeable, prompt and courteous service, and as well very fair prices. If only all businesses were run this well! Our grade is A++.

I had several styles I was trying to choose from and he was more than willing to let me take the home, see what worked best and bring back the ones that didn't. He wouldn't take my credit card and trusted that I would act in good faith and return the unwanted merchandise and pay for what I did want tot keep. That personal connection is so rare in businesses these days. What a gem!

I recently popped in to browse for some window valances for a bay window, and was very impressed with the level of care and attention I received. They made sure color and pattern would match the room, also the finished product would look professionally done, and thorough instructions on how to put it up. I am so pleased with the result. Great selection and prices. I found many of the same valances at the Linen & Shade Bin as in another well-known catalog store, and they were the same product, but much more affordable! This place is well worth the trip! The proprietors are very helpful too.

We moved to the area in 2008 and searched about for window coverings. On a tip from a neighbor I popped into Linen and Shade Bin. What a delight! The friendly (but not pressuring) staff gave us lots of ideas, even coming out to our home to take a look and give more feedback. We ordered what we needed and the measuring folks did a perfect job! They came out soon after and VERY professionally installed the products. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work done- but it gets better. After only a few weeks, a motorized shade began to malfunction. The shop owner came right out and he and the manufacturer's representative worked quickly to address the problem. They ended up replacing the unit and did so efficiently and at my convenience. In this day of many people out for themselves, or just to make a dollar, this shop and its wonderful staff are a true breath of fresh air. They provide Service (with a capital S). Thank you SO much for your professionalism!

This was our first experience finding replacement coverings for our business office. The Linen and Shade Bin came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We went over choices at the store, but then had the opportunity to view styles and colors at our office. This is a great home-town store with beautiful window treatments and bed/bath ensembles. The staff is a wonderful help in selecting colors to match home decor. I have purchased window treatments, bath ensembles, table linens, and window shades over the years, all very nice quality. . I recently purchased scalloped window shades which are very hard to find; when I was unsure of measurements; the staff took the time to ensure I had the correct size. I also appreciate that they carry an assortment of curtain rods, particularly bay window rods which I would have had to order online. They also do beautiful customer curtain work with a selection of beautiful fabrics. It is a pleasure shopping locally in a small store that is focused on the customer. I recommend this store.
