The movers arrived on time and everything went really smoothly. Nothing was broken or damaged when they made the delivery. They surely made our move easy. I think you should hire them before their prices starts skyrocketing.

They packed and loaded all the belongings and it was done in just 3 hours. The truck was to reach our new house in 7 days and they did! This is what I call a smooth move. No tension at all. I just gave them a call and they did the rest. I took on the whole process so basically they did all the wrapping and packing. They did a neat job. Labeled everything so that we would not get confused. Took very good care of the fragile items as well as the furniture. Nothing got wrecked along the way. horrible experience. I was scheduled August 5th. I was pushed back to August 6th from 8-12. Which I was asked to tradefor the 4-6 slot. 615 still no movers. Sunday rolls around 130 I call Jeff. He tells me "sorry cant do the move at all. I'm with my family, gotta go" I paid in full for my move. then receive a call from Christine who assures me on Tuesday, from 8-12 they will pick up my belongings. Tuesday 12 no one has arrived. I called, and was told my pick up was changed to 12-4. 430 Tuesday, there is still no pick up. I call, and Alanya informs me the driver Ron just left the office with my contract. Hes already 30 minutes late from my latest pick up time. I tell Alayna I'm upset, because I could have worked an entire day, she informs me "she stayed 3 hours past her shift so Ron could get the contract, I should be thankful'" SHE GOT PAID 3 HOURS OF OVERTIME, WHEN I MISSED 8 HOURS AT MY JOB! This has left an awful taste in my mouth, and it disgusts me.

A single man freshly out of college is totally gullible in the hands of the moving companies. Luckily, I put my trust in a company who does the job brilliantly without trying to rip you off. My friend had hired golden valley van lines months before my move and he suggested that I talk to them. They gave me a very reasonable quote to relocate my belongings. I was well aware that the initial quote was only estimation. Anyways, their movers all arrived in time equipped with so much packing materials. I didn’t want my relocation ending up costing me a fortune. My belongings arrived safely in my new apartment and the movers helped me unpack. They even offered to assemble my bed for me. Then the foreman handed me the final bill. It was the exact amount they quoted. I was over the moon!

Dont read the 5 star reviews, they are probably paid for. Just go with another company, you arent saving any money here. No it wont be ok, No they wont get it right, no their BBB score does not reflect their companies standards.

Move day comes, no truck. READ other reviews on other sites... you think it's just me? My wife calls, we are stressing out. Eddie's gotta a lot to say, "have you ever run a business?" he says to my wife blah blah blah. They want us to pay CASH or Cashier check... Credit card costs extra... when we ask to use the card... they want us to pay FIRST before they send anyone... We say "why would that matter, if we had cash you said the guys would get it on move day?"

I believe I had written a review about Golden valley van lines a few years before criticizing them. While they were not-so-efficient back then, that is not the case anymore. I wasn’t going to hire them while moving again but it was a busy weekend and no other company could accommodate me. Unlike last time, the movers arrived very much on time. It was a different crew and all four men worked very efficiently. I had an eye on them the whole time. But the movers surprised me. They worked like machines, efficient and energetic machines. The whole packing and loading was done really fast. I talked to their foreman later on and he informed me that the company has provided rigorous training to all the movers and the slacking ones were sacked. They have turned into a very capable and reliable moving company. They took amazing care of my belongings. I do feel somewhat terrible for writing that review earlier.

Golden valley van lines is a very capable company which has been in the business for long enough. I have hired them several times before for my moves. With time, the amount of things I own has grown too. So, it’s always a concern how much boxes and other packing materials would cost me. The movers were quite generous the last time I moved though. They worked tirelessly packing and loading all my stuffs. As I didn’t provide the packing materials myself, they had to use their own. I was very worried how much it was going to cost me. Let me tell you, most of it was for free! I did pay for the boxes but it was a very small amount. You can just ask them ahead to include the price in their quote and they will happily do it for you. I highly recommend these guys.

They have relocated my valuables 2 times now and they are yet to damage anything. That is a damn good achievement! Handled my move exactly as contracted!! I was especially pleased with their care to carefully wrap every piece of furniture with moving pads and tape. As a result everything arrived in pristine condition. I'm a little OCD (understatement) and the sales rep Eddie, and office contact Christine patiently answered my petty questions AND did exactly what they contracted to do when they said they would!!! We selected Golden Valley because their price was competitive and after analyzing the specifics of other mowing companies coupled with our satisfaction in their service - golden valley IS your best option - I promise.,

My old apartment was a third floor walkup through a very narrow staircase. I do not remember how I managed to fit my old furniture through that staircase into my apartment 6 years ago. I hired Golden valley van lines to get them out and then transport them. They somehow managed to get every piece of my furniture out of that building without a scratch on them. The next challenge was my new apartment. It was on the fourth floor and the elevator was sketchy to describe it the best way possible. The four men carried most of the things through the stairs. I was very impressed by them. I think they exceeded all my expectations and performed brilliantly in conditions less than comfortable.
